Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made with Alok Home Shifting Packers And Movers Bangalore. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before confirming your moving service booking.

2. Customer Cancellation

• More than 48 hours before shift: You may cancel your booking free of charge. Any advance payment will be refunded in full within 7–10 business days.
• 24–48 hours before shift: Cancellation is permitted with a 50% deduction of the advance payment to cover team preparation and scheduling costs.
• Less than 24 hours before shift: No refund will be issued as the team and vehicle would have been arranged specifically for your move.
• On the day of the shift: No refund. A visit/trip charge of ₹500–₹1,000 may be levied if the team has already been dispatched.

3. How to Cancel

1. Call or WhatsApp us at 8880062229 with your booking details.
2. State clearly that you wish to cancel and provide the reason.
3. Our team will confirm the cancellation and inform you of any applicable charges.
4. You will receive a cancellation confirmation via WhatsApp or SMS.

4. Company Cancellation

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking. This may happen due to:

• Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters
• Vehicle breakdown or unforeseen operational issues
• Government-imposed restrictions or emergencies

In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any advance paid.

5. Date Change vs. Cancellation

Changing the date of your shift is considered rescheduling, not cancellation, and is governed by our Refund Policy. Please call us at 8880062229 at least 48 hours before your shift to reschedule free of charge.

6. No-Show Policy

If you are not present at the pickup location during the scheduled shift window without prior notice, it will be treated as a same-day cancellation. No refund will be issued and additional visit charges may apply.
